6:15 – 7:00 AM Pick-up from your hotel or designated meeting point in the following areas: Khaosan, Silom, Sathorn, Sukhumvit (Soi 1-24), Asoke, Pratunam.
7:30 AM Departure from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.
9:10 AM Explore Wat Phu Khao Thong, ascend the renowned 50-meter-high Chedi for panoramic views of the surrounding rice fields and Ayutthaya town. Then, visit Wat Lokaya Sutha to pay respects to the impressive 42-meter-long reclining Buddha. Following this, we’ll take you to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, founded by King U-Thong in 1357 AD, one of Ayutthaya’s oldest and most significant temples. Before lunch, we’ll visit Wat Mahathat, famous for the Buddha’s head entwined in tree roots.
12:00 PM Enjoy a delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant.
01:00 PM Visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the revered temple situated on the grounds of Ayutthaya’s former Royal Palace.
02:10 PM Depart from Ayutthaya for Bangkok.
03:45 PM Group Tour: Return transportation to Khaosan Road or MRT Sam Yot. (Khao San Road is a renowned destination for backpackers.)
