One Day Elephant Sanctuary – Mea Wang

You’ll be picked up from your hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 am for a journey of about one and a half hours to the elephant park within Doi Inthanon National Park. Upon arrival, you’ll receive traditional clothing from members of the Karen Hill Tribe. Additionally, you’ll be provided with fruits and vegetables to feed the elephants, as well as the opportunity to play and interact with them. A buffet lunch featuring freshly prepared, locally cooked dishes will be served. Following lunch, you’ll have the chance to accompany the elephants for a mud spa, beneficial for their skin and body temperature regulation, followed by a walk down to the river for swimming and bathing with the elephants. Towards the end of the day, you’ll feed the elephants again (they typically consume about one third of their body weight daily) and have the opportunity for photos and farewells. You’ll be returned to your hostel around 5:30 pm.

Throughout the tour, a professional photographer will capture numerous moments, and these photos will be shared with you at no additional cost, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in your time with the elephants.
