Day 1:
Your comfortable transportation will pick you up from your accommodation at around 8 am, marking the beginning of your excursion to the Doi Inthanon National Park area. Upon arrival, your guide will provide a briefing on the day’s hike and what you can anticipate. You’ll commence a trek through verdant jungle landscapes, exploring cascading waterfalls ideal for swimming and relaxation. The trek includes a visit to a local Karen hill tribe village, offering insight into their cultural traditions. You’ll spend the night in a bamboo cabin nestled amidst the jungle, equipped with mosquito nets for added comfort. An evening campfire will provide a cozy atmosphere for a communal dinner beneath the starlit sky.
Day 2:
Kickstart your day with a wholesome breakfast before venturing back into the jungle, making your way to the elephant camp. Upon arrival, the Karen hill tribe will warmly welcome you and outfit you in traditional attire for the day’s adventures. You’ll have the opportunity to feed and engage with the elephants, followed by a stroll to the river for an unforgettable bathing session with these magnificent creatures. After bidding farewell to the elephants, indulge in another delicious home-cooked meal before embarking on a brief hike to a scenic waterfall. The expedition culminates with bamboo rafting down the river, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding natural beauty. Your return journey to Chiang Mai will see you back at your accommodation by approximately 4:30 pm.
